Do you have a teen who wants to get his permit or driver’s license soon?
As a homeschooler, you may be able to purchase a driver’s ed. course that your teen can learn from. Some of these courses are online, some are in the form of downloadable software, and others are books. They can range in cost from tens to hundreds of dollars each. But before you start investing money in materials, you’ll need to find out whether your state allows it. Fortunately, you can find information regarding driver’s license registration free on each state’s department of transportation website.
Below you’ll first find a list of driver’s license information by state. This is free information. The list which follows it, on the other hand, is comprised of companies that offer driver’s ed. training. You will have to purchase these.
These two sets of online resources can help you determine what steps you need to take to get your teen ready to take the wheel.
