If you are teaching your kids note names, you might want to check out the music reading apps I found recently. They will make a great supplement to your existing music curriculum.
These apps can be used on a variety of devices including iPad, iPhone, and Android tablets. Some cover treble clef, some bass clef, and others teach both. A few of these apps even have piano keyboards.
