Preventing summer slide is something that some homeschoolers consider important during their off months. They want to make sure that their children do some kinds of activities over the summer that feed their minds.
In case you weren’t aware, “summer slide” is a phrase used to describe a loss of learning by some children over the summer months. It can force you to spend your first few weeks of homeschooling in the fall just reviewing instead of jumping right into your curriculum.
