Teaching your kids money skills this year?
I found some sites with free printable coins and bills that can help you out. You can use these freebies to create manipulatives that your kids can use for hands-on practice counting money.
There are lots of ways to use this money. It can be used for demonstrating and practicing money-counting skills. You can set up a pretend store and let your child buy or sell items. You can use it to “pay” your child for chores done and then let your child use the pretend money to “buy” special items or activities. It can also just be left out for your child to play with. However you use it, I hope it benefits you and your child.
