Teaching your kids about the 50 states?
I found some YouTube channels recently that have videos you might be interested in. These channels each have a growing series about the states.
While none of these series are complete as of this writing, it is my hope that they will be soon and that you can still use what they currently have in the meantime.
YouTube Channels About the 50 States
Socratica – Socratica has a growing playlist called 50 States – American History & U.S. Geography with videos that have interesting information about the states.
Free School – Watch the 50 States Tour for Kids which is a growing playlist of videos about the states. Free School also has this video about how the 50 states got their names.
National Geographic Kids – Search for the 50 Birds, 50 States videos on the National Geographic Kids channel for raps about state birds like this one for Wisconsin.
I hope you found these videos about the 50 states helpful. I will add more channels as I find them so feel free to bookmark or pin this page so that you can find it again easily.
