Do you have a teen who is interested in robotics?
I found a robotics app recently with DIY projects your teen can build. It’s called DIY Robotics Projects and it’s for Android devices.
When I first saw it, I had my doubts, but I went ahead and downloaded it to check it out.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has robot projects that you can actually build.
Each project has parts lists, detailed instructions, and even information on how to program each robot.
Neat, huh?
It has 21 DIY robotics projects including a Hexapod Walker Robot, Simple DIY Walking Robot, Raspberry Pi Rover Robot, Obstacle-Avoiding Robot, Beginner’s Robot Using Raspberry Pi, and more.
Now keep in mind that these projects are not for the faint of heart. They’re pretty advanced, however, if you have a teen who is gifted, or genuinely interested and up for the challenge, you might want to let him try to make one. It would be an amazing STEM project!
At the very least, you might want to download the app and let him check it out. It’s currently free so you won’t lose anything by doing so.

I hope your teen learns a lot from this robotics app. If you know of anyone else who would like to try it out, share this post with them.
