When you’re on a nature walk and you see a tree you don’t recognize, tree identification apps can help you out. These apps are virtual tree guides for your phone or tablet and weigh a lot less than the real thing. 😉
I have a list of tree ID apps for you today that I think you’ll find useful. Most have a way for you to narrow down your search easily with questions and categories. One uses visual recognition software so you can just snap a picture of the tree or leaf and it will pick out some possibilities.
