Looking for an inexpensive student microscope your teen can use for high school science courses?
I found some for you recently that are under $100. They include both regular microscopes and digital microscopes.
The regular scopes have the traditional monocular eyepiece. They require batteries and/or an outlet so that the light can be turned on for clear viewing.
The digital microscopes will connect to your cell phone or computer and show a magnified image of the object you are viewing on the screen. You can capture pictures with these for use in notebooking pages, journals, lab reports, and other papers. Surprisingly, the digital scopes tend to be a bit cheaper than the regular ones. They are also smaller and more lightweight which means they take up less space on your shelves and can also be taken on the go.
