Teaching your kids about outer space?
I found three YouTube playlists that you might be interested in. Each playlist has numerous short videos about various topics related to space including (but not limited to) the solar system, stars, the Moon, comets, satellites, and space travel.
You can use these videos to augment your space curriculum, to give your kids something educational to watch when you are under the weather, or just for learning enjoyment.
Playlists About Outer Space
Free School – This Free School playlist has videos about the Sun, planets, the Moon, solar eclipses, constellations, auroras and more.
SciShow Kids – These SciShow Kids videos will teach your kids about the summer solstice, planets, the Moon, stars, satellites, eclipses, meteor showers, and much more.
National Geographic Kids – Unlike the other playlists in this post, this one has videos from other YouTube channels besides its own. It will teach your kids about the Milky Way, planets, stars, space travel, and other space topics.
Did your kids enjoy watching these videos about outer space? If they did and you know of other families who would enjoy watching them, please, share this post with them.
