If you are looking for something really fun to do for homeschool phy. ed. time, you might want to look into getting one of the 6 foot or 12 foot parachutes for kids that are available on the market.
The 6 foot size is good for indoor exercise as well as out since it doesn’t take up a lot of space. The 12 foot is perfect for large families and homeschool co-ops.
Personally, my kids loved the 6 foot parachute I bought for them when they were little. It worked really well as a phy. ed. activity on rainy days.
I have a list of parachutes for you today that you might want to take a look at. They are inexpensive and won’t take up a lot of room in your house.
BONUS TIP: Use one of these parachutes for science lessons to demonstrate air resistance and other concepts in physics.
