Whether you use the Montessori method or are looking for something hands-on to teach reading and vocabulary, you might want to look into printable Montessori 3-part cards.
3-part cards, or nomenclature cards as they are sometimes called, are a collection of cards that come in three forms: 1) a card with the picture of an item and its label, 2) a card with just the picture, and 3) a card with just the label. The second and third cards fit perfectly on top of or next to the first, so they work well for independent activities.
I found some sites for you recently that have printable nomenclature cards. I have them listed for you below. They have cards on a wide variety of topics, some of which are Christian and others secular.
