Today I have some tips for using count and clip cards for you.
Count and clip cards, or counting cards as they are sometimes called, are cards that have a set of pictures for your child to count and 3 – 4 numbers beneath or beside. You child chooses the correct number of items that there are and clips a clothespin on it.
These types of cards are good for preschool through grade 1. They not only provide your child with counting practice, but also finger-strengthening exercises.
The tips I have for you today come from homeschoolers and teachers who have experience working with young children. Although, the titles of some of their posts name a printable that they are offering, they do offer advice and suggestions as well.
