The benefits of using pattern blocks with children are numerous. They help children develop spatial reasoning skills. They can be used for teaching geometry concepts. Children can sort them, make comparisons with them, and discuss their attributes. They can even be used to teach fractions. I highly recommend having a set.
I found some pattern blocks for you recently made from a variety of materials including plastic, wood and foam. That way you can choose exactly what you’d like for your homeschool.
