As I’ve said previously, I love timelines. They are an amazing tool for teaching history because they give children a clear picture of when events have happened in relationship to each other.
That’s why I jumped for joy when I discovered U.S. history timeline apps in the Google Play store. I thought to myself, these apps are the perfect reference tool for historical people and events. You can pull one up when you are reading historical fiction or your homeschool history book to your kids.
The apps I found are listed below. One works on both iOS and Android devices while the other is strictly for Android.
